Administrative Judiciary Court in Zagazig, headed by Judge Mokhtar Gabr, rejected six appeals submitted by some of nominees of the People's Assembly and Shura Council in Sharqeya against remnants of the National Democratic Party (NDP). The court accepted 27 appeals for the People's Assembly and the Shura Council nominees who called to complete their electoral papers, while the court agreed to include their names on the lists. Nominees of five new political parties transferred their sit-in outside the High Electoral Committee headquarters in Cairo. They met with a committee member Ahmed Shams el-Din, who allowed them to start their electoral campaigns, propaganda and electoral conferences. It is worth mentioning, the nominees of the five political parties protested on Monday November 15 at the court protesting against the delay of appeals submitted against the head of the high Electoral Committee in Cairo. The court delayed the verdict of including lists of Al-Horreya Party, Masr Al-Hadeetha and the Revolutionary Parties and the Freedom Constitution Party in the voters' lists on November 19. The delay aroused the nominees' anger due to their lack of time for their electoral propaganda and they decided to stage a sit-in.
