CAIRO: The main Egyptian stock indexes today took early losses, spurred on by foreign and Arab sell-offs despite some Egyptian purchasing. The main EGX30 dropped 0.71 percent, the EGX20 fell 0.65 percent, the EGX70 shed 1.7 percent and the EGX100 slid 1.3 percent. Major blue-chip shares also suffered in the morning session, including Sodic, down 1.5 percent; Egyptian for Resorts, down 1.9 percent; Orascom Telecom, down 0.62 percent; Mobinil, down 0.91 percent; TMG, down 0.57 percent; Ezz Steel, down 1.01 percent; Commercial International Bank, down 2.1 percent; and Palm Hills, down 2.9 percent.
