ARISH, Egypt; “Security forces will spread along main [stations] and sub-stations on the gas line” said South Sinai governor Abdul Wahab Mabrouk. Mabrouk held a coordination conference with all concerned sides to secure gas stations and the gas line to Jordan and Israel. Mabrouk also said razor wire was built around the outer wall of gas stations. The stations were provided powerful lights and cameras for security. The conference decided to resume depending on Sinai tribes to secure the gas line and stations. Mabrouk said that the authorities are studying forming campaigns of security forces to check the line at night.
