April 6 Movement prepares a protest in solidarity with Alaa Abdel Fattah

ALEXANDRIA, Egypt; The April 6 Movement in Alexandria is preparing a protest in solidarity with Alaa Abdel Fattah in front of the Library of Alexandria today November 11. They demand the release of Abdel Fattah.
In related news, the Youth for Justice and Freedom Movement in Alexandria handed out 400 posters and flyers in solidarity with Abdel Fattah and the other 1,200 youths detained in military courts.
Abdel Fattah is an Egyptian blogger and a January 25 Revolution youth activist. He is accused of inciting violence between Coptic Christians and the military forces during the Maspiro clashes on September 9. He was detained following the Maspiro clashes earlier October.
