MADRID, Spain: Egyptian Ambassador to Spain Ayman Zien said the embassy in Spain has been in contact with Egyptian expatriates via the embassy's official Facebook page, through various organizations and unions of Egyptians in Spain and by announcements in the embassy headquarters. This was to begin the voter registration process of Egyptian expatriates on the Supreme Electoral Committee's website beginning today, Thursday, November 10. "Egyptians in Spain showed astonishing enthusiasm and interest by continuously following and finding out all the updates of the registration and voting processes," Zien told Youm7. Zien said there are no obstacles facing the voting process, which is helped by the expatriates' great desire to practice their right to vote. He added that all facilities in the embassy will be provided for the process. The ambassador said the embassy is waiting on details of the procedures and voting process from the Supreme Electoral Committee regarding whether voting will be electronic or by going to the embassy headquarters.
