A religious source informed Youm7 the Coptic Church and Al-Azhar institute agreed on the Worship Law. The church sent an official response Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf about the Law. The church also said the Law will not be unified for churches and mosques. It will contain two parts, one organizing building churches and the other for building mosques. The source added church committees will continue to work in Egyptian governorates to discuss and study legalization unlicensed churches, reaching 1,500 in number. About mosques, a member of the National Justice Committee, Amir Ramzy, said Al-Azhar agreed on the Worship Law. Great Imam of Al-Azhar sent his approval with some reforms. The Worship Law is expected to be issued soon after Egypt's ruling military council approves it.
