Demonstration planned at Torah Prison, denouncing military

CAIRO: The “No Military Trials for Civilians” Egyptian Facebook page today called its members to an demonstration on Wednesday, the fourth day of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, at Torah Prison.
The demonstration is titled “We Will Celebrate Eid with Imprisoned Brothers.”
The purpose of the demonstration is to show solidarity with incarcerated activists, like Alaa Abdel-Fatah, Ahmed Abdel Karim, Ahmad Hassan al-Banna and Yasser Mohamed Tawfik along with several others who were arrested after the siege on the Israeli embassy on September 9.
The admins on the Facebook page say that they condemn military trials for civilians, and claim that the families of those affected by military trials will join them at the demonstration.
