Stock market's main index EGX30 increased at the rate of 7.59 percent during October and closed with 4451 points, while stock index EGX100 increased at the rate of 8.06 percent and EGX70 at the rate of 6.16 percent. The total transaction value reached 9.9 billion EGP (U.S. $1.66 million) during October. Egyptian transactions acquired 76.16 percent of market transactions, while foreigner investors acquired 18.99 percent of market transactions and Arab investors acquired 4.86 of the market. Foreign investors made selling processes estimated at 10.29 million EGP (U.S. $1.7 million) in October, while Arab investors made 151.6 million EGP (U.S. $25.4 million) purchase processes in October while excluding the deals. The institutions acquired 61.89 percent of stock market transactions while individuals acquired 38.11 percent of market transactions in October.
