CAIRO: Legal advisor Mortada Mansour today challenged Ayman Nour on the Al Qahira Al Youm Program, led by broadcaster Amr Adeeb. Mansour claimed that there is no relationship between him and the Judge in Nour's case. “If Nour proves that there is a relationship between me and the judge, I will waive all of my properties,” Mansour said. “But if he can't, Nour must call the program and admit he is a fool.” Angered, Nour called for an apology from Mansour. Mansour's on-air challenge came in response to Nour's claims of an existing relationship between the legal advisor and the judge. Nour said he wants to prove his innocence and the verdict issued in the case was as a result of political problems between Mansour and himself. “I will prove in court what I have said before about the relationship between Judge Mohamed Talaat Mahmoud El Refaei and Mansour,” Nour added. He also said that he will submit a document proving that the judge is the uncle of Hisham el-Refaei, who is the husband of Mansour's daughter. He also claimed that he will file a claim against Mansour for insulting him on the air.
