Cairo workshop to celebrate prominent Egyptian sculptor

CAIRO: The Cairo Workshop will celebrate the works of prominent Egyptian sculptor Sobhy Girgis on Monday at 7pm. His artistic history and works will be discussed.
Girgis is a fine artist and sculptor. He studied the fine art in Italy, where he received a fine arts diploma in Florence in 1964.
He received the Egyptian state award for arts as well as the International Biennale medal for arts in Spain in 1973 and the jury's prize in the fifth International Cairo Biennale in 1994.
