A number of bilateral meetings will be conducted between Egypt and the United States in Washington to discuss new ways to develop trade and economic relations, said Egyptian Minister of Trade Mahmoud Eissa. Eissa added that the Egyptian side does not mind starting unconditioned negotiations with the U.S. to reach a free trade agreement, as one important step that would support relations between the two countries. The senior Egyptian official underlined the importance of U.S.-Egyptian relations, describing them as strategic relations based on common interests. He added that these relations would pave the way for increasing investments and achieving the public interests of the two countries.
