Channel administration issued a statement and said, “CBC administration decided to allocate advertising space for free to inform Egyptians with electoral programs. CBC launched this initiative as the administration believes in the youth and aims to develop Egypt's future.” “The aim is to enable the youth to achieve an acceptable competition with parties that have financial and humanitarian resources and advertising methods. Therefore, we try to help revolutionary youth coalition and masses candidates of parliamentary elections 2011,who do not have sufficient financial possibilities to help them announce their electoral programs through satellite channels.” The statement added CBC's cover for parliamentary elections will be neutral and non-aligned with any political forces.
