Nubian activist Ahmed Abdel Hamid said Nubians will provide the current Egyptian government with two weeks to announce a timetable to execute their decisions issued by Egypt's Cabinet after its meeting with Nubian activists in September. Abdel Hamid told Youm7 Nubians appreciate the current conditions in Egypt so they decided to extend the time limit to provide the government to honor the promises, which they made during the mentioned meeting. He added they formed committees for professors and scientists to help the government execute projects aiming to develop Nubba. Abdel Hamid said Nubians will meet on Friday October 28 to decide their final decision about their participation in the next parliamentary elections, whether to vote or boycott the elections. It is important to mention Egypt's Cabinet decided to establish a High Committee to develop Nubba and consider separating the electoral district of Nasr al-Nubba from Kom Ombo.
