Military Council is the last buffer for Egypt
Published in Youm7 on 27 - 10 - 2011

WASHINGTON D.C: Actor Mohamed Sobhi said Egypt's ruling military council is the last buffer for Egypt because the police and the law's arm fell down during the Egyptian January 25 Egyptian Revolution.
Sobhi assured his confidence in the military council job to maintain Egypt's security during this serious period. Sobhi added he doesn't need to be ruled according to what is commonly said by stakeholders because the military council doesn't seek privileges.
It is worth mentioning, Sobhi's statements was made during his meeting with Egyptian Defense Attaché in Washington D.C, Mohamed al-Keshkhi. During the meeting, Sobhi told el-Keshkhi the outlines of a ‘Billion Pounds' campaign, based in Europe and America, to support the project of overcoming the problem of slums in Egypt.
The project aims to establish five pilot cities for residents in this area to be the mainstay of Egypt in the coming period.
El-Keshkhi expressed his appreciation to Sobhi's cultural enrichment and noted Sobhi is a model for the genuine Egyptian figure, which shows the difference between those who want to build a new Egypt and those who want to destroy it.
“There are those who are seeking to destroy Egypt but the military council insists to maintain working according to plan and they announced when they took over the country's affairs during the transitional period,” Sobhi said.
He added those who love the revolution should differentiate between what is beneficial and what is dangerous to Egypt. He added there are irrational demands calling the military council to step down and transfer authority to an elected civil president.
He refused these calls, commenting that it is irrational for the military council to step down in order to prove its unwillingness to rule.
