Mufti's attorney adds El Hekma Chairman as defendant

Hossam Mostafa, attorney for Egyptian Mufti Ali Gomaa, yesterday submitted a document to the Kafr el-Sheikh Court demanding that Chairman of the El Hekma Channel Sheikh Wesam Abdel Wareth be added to the Abu Isaac el-Heweni case involving the insult of the Mufti.
The document demands that the chairman be added as a second defendant in the defamation case filed by the Mufti against el-Heweni.
Sheikh Wesam is responsible for both the El Hekma channel and the Haras el-Hodood program, the document alleges.
Ali Gomaa filed a report against Sheikh el-Heweni accusing him of insult on the Haras el-Hodood ptogram on July 7.
