CAIRO: Giza's criminal court decided on Monday to delay until Wednesday a decision by the Illicit Gains Authority that would freeze assets belonging to Egypt's former President Hosni Mubarak, his sons Gamal and Alaa, and his wife Suzanne. On a related note, the judicial committee that would restore smuggled money obtained documents proving that Mubarak's sons have $352.5 million (54.6 million EGP) in Swiss accounts. The committee demanded that the Illicit Gains Authority to take the necessary measures to return the money to Egypt. The authority prevented them from dealing with their money, demanding Egypt's Court of Appeal to schedule a session to consider and to accept its opinion of suspension.
