Stock market suspends trading of Orascom and Ezz stocks

CAIRO: Egypt's stock market decided to suspend the trading of Orascom Telecom stocks for 30 minutes today. It also suspended dealings of Ezz Steel, Alexandria stocks from the beginning of Monday's session, until the company meets its financial commitment, as per the registration committee's decision on October 5.
Dealings of the Egyptian Company for Starch were also suspended until announcing the decisions of the board of directors, held on October 23. The market also suspended dealings of shares of the Cairo Company for Chickens for the same reason.
It also suspended dealings of Egypt's Company for Oils and Soap as the company has not responded to the questions of the stock market about information published in different newspapers without informing the bourse.
