Egypt resumed exporting natural gas to Jordon on Thursday October 20 and to Israel Sunday October 22, according to sources in the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum. The gas pipeline transferring Egyptian gas to Israel and Jordon exploded on September 27 of 2011 and gas export therefore ended. Since the former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was ousted on February 11, the gas pipeline was attacked and exploded sixth times. There is suspicion of those who oppose exportation of Egyptian gas to Israel might be responsible for the explosions.
