The natural gas pipeline located south of Arish exploded in the Tuesday early hours, according to Egyptian TV. A huge blast caused the pipeline to catch on fire. The pipeline that passes through Sinai and extends to Israel and Jordan, was attacked three times earlier this year. No casualties have been reported thus far, according to Egyptian TV.Firefighters are now trying to put out the flames. Many Egyptians have been protesting against exporting natural gas to Israel since toppled President Hosni Mubarak's tenure. The culprits behind the previous pipeline bombings were never found.
