Damietta Lawyers to stop work in courts today

DAMIETTA, Egypt: Some members of the General Assembly of the Bar in the Delta governorate of Damietta yesterday held a meeting to discuss their opposition to the Judicial Authority Law.
The members decided to halt all sessions in the governorate's courts, except for emergency sessions where the life and dire interests of the citizens were at stake.
The lawyers and members demanded that all sessions be stopped, but also urged the importance of not harming normal citizens' lives.
