Tens of demonstrators participated today in the March of National Unity and prayed in front of a Coptic cathedral after joining with two other marches. The march included many political movements that condemn the Maspiro clashes. The protestors chanted slogans against the military rule and a corrupt media, which, they claim, increases the strife. The protestors prayed and asked for mercy for martyrs. A Muslim sheikh delivered a speech claiming that the Maspiro clashes are a disaster for all Egyptians. Hani Ramsis, a member of the political office of Maspiro Youth, also offered a speech expressing his sadness and sorrow for the martyrs. He also claimed that Copts did not carry guns during the march. Copts rights will not be delivered withouth the help of Muslims, Ramsis said. All Egyptian Muslims and Copts support each other and support national united, he added.
