Editor-in-chief of Al-Masry Al-Youm Egyptian newspaper, Egyptian journalist Magdy Al Galad, said he was elected to be representative of Egypt in the parliament instead of former head of People's Assembly, Ahmed Fathy Sorour. “Egypt has no parliament now, since the imprisonment of Sorour,” Galad said during a meeting with media broadcaster Mona el-Shazly in the TV program 10:00 P.M. The International Parliamentary sent a letter to Galad saying they want to activate Egypt's role in the upcoming session. Galad is scheduled to speak about changes in the Arab region and the media's role in leading the Egyptian January 25 Revolution.
