Renovations on rail station to be complete

The first phase of renovations on Egypt Railway Station in Cairo's Ramses Square will open on October 25, Egyptian Minister of Transport Ali Zain al-Abidin Heikal said.
The first phase of construction renovated the main hall and squares surrounding the station. Hassan Alaam for Construction Company is working on the 170 million EGP (U.S. $28.5 million) project.
Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Essam Sharaf is set to attend the opening of the first phase.
A trade mall on the first and second floors is also a part of the development. Stores will also be placed in Sidi Gaber railway station in Alexandria.
