Parties appreciate Al-Wafd's withdrawal from Democratic Coalition

A total of 30 Egyptian political parties and movements expressed their appreciation to New Wafd Party's decision to withdraw from the Democratic Coalition for Egypt and form an individual list to run for the next parliamentary elections in Egypt.
Chairman of the Arab Socialist Party of Egypt Adel al-Kola said 30 political parties gathered on Thursday and the meeting aims to prepare for Saturday's meeting which the Freedom and Justice Party will participate in.
He added the Democratic Coalition will continue despite Al-Wafd's decision to withdraw, adding the objective of Saturday's meeting is to hold consultations about the lists of parties running for the next parliamentary elections.
He added Al-Wafd decided to withdraw from the coalition after wasting precious time in talks without announcing its position about the next elections.
