RAFAH, Egypt: Armed forces in North Sinai Governorate seized two trucks carrying 18,000 liters (4,755 gallons) of gasoline on its way to be smuggled to Gaza. A source at the Directory of Supply said that the army seized two trucks carrying 17,000 liters (4,491 gallons) and 1,000 liters stored in jerry cans. The source said a report had been filed about the incident and those involved were transferred to prosecutors. Regarding the petrol crisis in the capital of North Sinai, Arish, the General Manager of Supply, Rahed Abu Hamda, said that there were five trucks carrying petrol were unloaded in Arish, and two trucks are due to arrive.
