Both Al-Wafd and the Freedom and Justice political parties announced they will participate in the political powers meeting with Egypt's ruling military council. The meeting will be held to discuss the political powers demands to change article no. 5 of the elections law and to run the elections by a proportional representation system. Sources in the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) said the chairman of the Freedom and Justice Party, Mohamed Moursi, is already in the meeting discussing the demands of the political powers. Other sources in Al-Wafd Party assured their chairman, El-Sayyed el-Badawi , is participating in the meeting. On the other hand, Egyptian presidential candidate Ayman Nour announced he won't be attending the meeting since he received information about the military council not keen to meet the political powers' demands.
