Gharbiya security forces succeeded in cooperating with central security forces in an attempt to attack a police station in Mahala el-Kobra. Some prisoners' families tried to release the prisoners by using stones and sticks. The prisoners' families were angry after hearing rumors of torture in prisons, and so the families tried to attack and break into the police station and to release the prisoners. Security forces build a security barricade outside and inside the police station, headed by the director of Gharbiya security Mostafa El Baz to convince the families what the rumors they heard were false claims and the prisoners are treated according to legal rules and regulations.
