The coordinator of the "Release of Egyptian Prisoners in Israel" campaign, Mahmoud Said Lutfi, said Israel arrested three Egyptian children who were recently released by the Court of Beersheba after serving 60 days in prison. Lutfi said Salah Ahmed, 13, Mohamed Selim, 15, and Fayez Abdel Hamid, 14 were now in Israeli prison after they were on their way to Egypt via Awja border crossing. Lutfi said the Israeli government incarcerated the children as a response to Israeli Public Prosecutors to appeal against their sentence at an October 5 trial before three judges.
