CAIRO: A group of Egyptian students, who participated in the competition organized by Injaz Egypt, founded a company to produce products labeled ‘Made in Egypt.' The students named their company Business Innovation Group (BIG). They started to produce certain products as an initial step. They made laptop support bags and baby bags. Injaz Egypt is an education organization working to bridge the gap between the education system and the private sector. In partnership with the Ministry of Education, multinational and national companies, Injaz was established to create a new generation of empowered youth to become entrepreneurs and employees of their choice for corporations, instead of joining the growing ranks of the unemployed. BIG aims to be an Egyptian pioneer corporation in the industry of public health products and eco-friendly products to improve the life of the average Egyptian, said BIG spokesman, Mohammad Abdel Mohsen, who is also a student in the faculty of Engineering at University of Helwan. He said the company produces high quality products labeled "Made in Egypt" to gain the Egyptians' confidence. The objective behind participating in the competition is to gain more experience before graduation, he added.
