CAIRO: Egyptian presidential candidate Mohamed el-Baradei has added his voice to calls to activate the Law of Treachery and Political Isolation against members of Egypt's former regime. El-Baradei has called to use the law against members of Egypt's formerly ruling National Democratic Party in order to build a new future for Egypt. In a post on the social networking site Twitter, el-Baradei wrote, “Do not abort the dream.” His call has coincided with other politicians and activists' calls to activate the law as one of the demands of Egypt's January 25 Revolution. "We need parliament that represents the Egyptian revolution, not the former regime's cronies," said Mohammad Said, an Egyptian youth. El-Baradei was formerly the Secretary General of the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency.
