Midday trading at the Egyptian stock market was mixed, with the principal stock index, the EGX30, falling by 0.20 percent and the EGX100 losing 0.34 percent, while the small and medium companies index, the EGX70, rose by 0.18 percent. Major companies posted mixed results. SODEC shares lost 4.51 percent, National Bank Societe Generale decreased by 3.06 percent, and Mobinil shares fell by 3.10 percent. Orascom Telecom shares rose by 1.58 percent.
