The different sectors of Egypt's Ministry of Culture will participate in the Turkish book fair next November as a guest of honor. Head of the Public Books Authority Ahmed Megahed told Youm7 the ministry is mainly responsible and added they will offer the Egyptian publications from publishing houses that will not be participating in the exhibition. Megahed said a large suite will be allocated for Egyptian publications although they did not yet agree with Turkey about location. The Turkish choice of Egypt to be the exhibition's guest of honor coincided with the efforts exerted by both countries to strengthen relations caused by the Turkish Prime Minister, Ragab Tayeb Erdogan's, visit to Egypt. His visit resulted in the signing of a number of agreements aiming to increase cooperation in different fields.
