CAIRO: Many marches moved to Tahrir Square from different areas in Cairo to participate in today's protests. One march began from Estikama Mosque in Giza Square and headed to Tahrir, the epicenter of Egypt's January uprising, after Friday prayers. The protestors held signs calling to stop the export of Egyptian natural gas to Israel, dismiss the Israeli ambassador in Egypt and rejecting the parliamentary election law for the Shura Council and the People's Assembly. Another march begun from Rabaa Adawyia Mosque in Nasr City. The march included many protestors who raised January 25 Revolution slogans. The protestors hold signs opposing Prime Minister Essam Sharaf and Minister of Interior Mansour el-Issawy. The march passed through side streets to gather more protestors. Another peaceful march began at Jazeret Badran Mosque in Shubra after Friday prayers. The protestors chanted slogans urging others to join them. Football fans joined in the middle of the march, earning the disapproval of local residents for their abusive words. One man stopped his car and asked the demonstrators to go to work rather than protest, but the football fans chased him and insulted him. The youth of the National Renaissance in Shubra distributed leaflets urging people joining them and participate in the Friday of Rectification. Shubra's streets were completely free of policemen. All protestors reached Tahrir Square and then organized a big march through the side streets around Tahrir. Protestor's demands include stopping military trails of civilians, determining a minimum and maximum wage and speeding up the trials of members of Egypt's former regime. The April 6 movement, Nasserian party youth, al-Tagammu Party youth and other coalitions participated in the march. Arabic here Arabic here Arabic here
