Local committees responsible for security in Tahrir Square have closed all entrances to the square in order to secure protestors during “Friday of Rectification.” Protestors have used blue umbrellas and other barriers to block the entrances of the square. Demonstrators have erected a single platform in front of Hardees restaurant. Protestors hold signs calling for unity of Egypt demands, releasing imprisoned revolution youth, the cessation of military trials for civilians and opposing some media broadcasters. Vendors have started to spread across the square. The Ahly and Zamalek sports clubs have organized a thousand-person march to protest the clashes between the football fans and police at Cairo Stadium on Wednesday.
