The Vice President of the Supreme Constitutional Court, Chancellor Tahani el-Gebaly, said the committee is drafting the Supra-constitutional principles on constitutional document under the chair of Deputy Prime Minister, Ali el-Selmi. The work was completed after the document's final draft was approved of all factions and political currents including Al-Wafd, Al-Tagamu and other political parties. It was also approved by all human rights organizations, civil society organizations, professional associations, trade unions and women's' rights organizations and about 27 other unions for Egyptians abroad and the Supreme Council of Sufi Orders. Al-Gebaly explained on a telephone call with Youm7 el-Selmi will issue the document soon. She noted the document was amended 21 times based on consultations with political forces to satisfy all parties. Al-Gebaly said the clause on Egypt's economy was top priority to dispute but amendments also took into account social justice, the protection the public sector and private's rights, as well as property protection in general.
