Tour guides call for million-man demonstration in order to support tourism in Egypt

Egyptian tour guides and tourism sector officials have called for million-man demonstration in TahrirSquare under the slogan “Campaign to Defend tourism".
Their campaign aims to support and defend the Egyptian tourism sector and remind people of its importance to the Egyptian economy.
They announced in recent statements that tourism in Egypt is in danger after the recent rise in the number of Islamist groups.
The also welcomed all suggestions that may help stimulate and promote tourism.
The organizers of the campaign said “We oppose all negative statements that harm tourism and welcome all suggestions that may help stimulate Tourism”.
