Supply investigators of Ismalia found large amounts of frozen meat, unfit for consumption, at one of the traders in Ismailia. There were also large amounts of frozen fish unfit for consumption and others expired in some shops in Ismailia. These were irregularities reported about some traders who sell food commodities with higher prices. The General Manager of Support in Ismailia, Abdel Sameea Swelam, said there was a campaign including support campaigns in Ismailia, which started on the first day of Eid el-Fitr, the feast following the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, and continues to search markets and monitor sales actions for any violations. Swelam pointed out the continual presence of inspectors and support monitors in cooperation with the supply, health and veterinary investigations around the trading shops and markets.
