CAIRO: Two Israeli warships cannot enter Egyptian territorial waters regardless of any justification, including securing Israeli borders or fear of terrorist attacks, said General Yosri Qandil, commander of the Egyptian Navy during the Arab-Israeli War of 1973. The Egyptian Navy is ready to deter anyone who even imagines violating Egyptian borders, he added. Qandeel said that Israel operates on the principle that its territorial water ends at its enemy's territorial one. He pointed out that this interpretation is wrong. Israel uses its naval troops provocatively and claims that its strong naval force can be used any time, Qandeel added.
