ASWAN, Egypt: Aswan Botanical Garden is ready to receive an expected 15,000 visitors during Eid el-Fitr, according to the garden's manager, Ramadan Mohamed. Eid al-Fitr is the three-day feast that follows the Islamic hold month of Ramadan. Mohamed said a comprehensive plan has been conducted to maintain the garden's infrastructure, increase the green areas, decorate garden fences, and other things. The garden dates back more than one hundred years. There is coordination with Civil Water Bodies for monitoring cruises, Mohamed added. He said the garden expects high revenues during Eid due to the large influx of Egyptian and foreign tourists. He expects around 15,000 people to visit the gardens over the holiday. The garden's workers are ready to lift the level of efficiency to meet all visitors' needs, said Mohammad.
