Links: Ayman Nour, Amr Moussa The sons of imprisoned Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman and members of Gama'a Islamiyya – who continue their sit-in outside the American embassy in Cairo demanding the Sheikh's release – today announced two conferences to be held after Eid to increase pressure on American authorities. The first conference will include Egyptian preachers and prominent religious leaders, said Abdallah, Abdel-Rahman's son, including Sheikh Mohamed Hassan, Abu Ishaq and Al Heweny. A second conference will include prominent Egyptian presidential candidates, the Islamic scholar Selim al-Awa – who earlier promised to support the family of Abdel-Rahman – as well as Ayman Nour and Amr Moussa.
