Dozens of demonstrators gathered in Suez's main square to protest the deaths of six Egyptian soldiers at the hands of the Israeli military Sunday evening. Protestors congregating in Suez's El-Arbaeen square condemned the incident in which six Egyptians were killed as the Israeli military pursued militants across the border near the Red Sea resort town of Taba. Protestors called for the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador, burned the Israeli flag and held banners calling for Prime Minister Essam Sharaf and the ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces to act quickly.
