CAIRO: Egypt's national airline EgyptAir is launching a new express flight between Egypt's Mediterranean city of Alexandria and the Greek capital Athens. Helmy Rezk, head of EgyptAir for domestic and regional airlines, said the new flight will begin October 31. Flights from Alexandria to Athens will be scheduled twice per week, on Mondays and Fridays. Flights willdepart at 2:30pm and arrive at 4:20pm. "EgyptAir aims to activate domestic tourism and provide more services for passengers, particularly during vacations and feasts," said Rezk. Rezk added, "EgyptAir is arranging another 25 flights to Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh and Marsa Alam from August 31 to September 4.”
