BEHEIRA, Egypt: Baheira's first priority is to develop slums and provide necessary demands for residents, according to the recently appointed governor of Beheira, Mohamed Mokhtar Hamalawi. Hamalawi will hold a meeting tomorrow with Beheira cities and town manors, directors of services directorates and the directors of General Board in order to set a specific mechanism for upcoming phase. "New mechanism includes directors of field presence, solving public problems and activating cooperation between manors and citizens,” Hamalawi said. Hamalawi will hold field trips for Beheira's cities, towns, directorates and different governmental departments to supervise, work there, recognize problems and find out solutions. Hamalawi met with the director of supply directorate in order to discuss providing bread, food commodities and gas cylinders in order to meet the needs of the citizens. Halabawi also organized a tour in the governorate headquarters to congratulate top employers during the holy Islamic month of Ramadan and to supervise work there. Hamalawi claimed to restrict state property and hold executive council meetings as soon as possible in order to follow application of different project processes, supervise investment plans and revise civil protection procedures inside governorate headquarters. He claimed to activate the work process by using computers and Internet in deferent administrations to achieve fast and accurate work and reserve data. Halabawi stressed on the importance of regarding citizen complaints, published in press or sent to the government electronic site.
