Hassan Ghandoor, head of the support campaign for former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, today announced a sit-in to show solidarity with the toppled leader in front of Mostafa Mahmoud Mosque. "Mubarak sends the world a message with his presence inside the dock. He is a symbol for strength and loyalty," said Ghandoor. Ghandoor also said that Mubarak supporters trust in his innocence, and will continue to offer support during the session on August 15 even if clashes erupt again between them his anti-Mubarak protestors. Ghandoor asked anti-Mubarak demonstrators to sympathize not with Mubarak as a president, but as a man. Mubarak sympathizers are also galvanizing their supporters on social media sites like Facebook, and urging them to attend the trial of Mubarak and his two sons, Alaa and Gamal.
