The Muslim Brotherhood will host its first public Iftar tomorrow at City Stars Hotel in Nasr City. The group is scheduled to meet for the fast-breaking meal without security or measures or restrictions in place. There will also be a special election to fill the three seats on the Guide Office committee, vacated by the following political members of the Freedom and Justice Party: deputy chairman Essam Eryan, secretary-general Saad al-Katany and party chairman Mohamed Moursi. These elections are the first public demonstration of democracy for the group, and they will be held before Arabian and Egyptian media, said Mohamed Hussein, secretary-general.
