NORTH SINAI, Egypt: An explosion hit the cooling lines of the gas station which exports Egyptian natural gas to Israel today, Saturda. According to local sources and witnesses, violent clashes took place between security forces at the station and unidentified gunmen who attempted to storm the station. Security forces prevented them from doing so. The sources added that the gunmen managed to spark an explosion in the cooling lines after failing to gain access to the station itself. The explosion caused a state of panic and anxiety in the area. Security forces have controlled the situation.
