The Muslim Brotherhood does not have practical solutions to tackle Egypt's problems or run the new government, said Hassan Torabi, chairman of the Sudanese opposition party. "The Muslim brotherhood slogans are mysterious," said Torabi. "They must focus on political participation and real civil discussions," he added. Torabi praised both the January 25 Revolution and Egyptians insisting on democratic governance. Torabi hopes the Sudanese people can hold demonstrations against the current regime in Khartoum, while criticizing the politics of Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir. Torabi is also happy that Sudanese parties came together to beat the current regime. The Sudanese opposition party's spokesman praised Torabi for his leadership, particularly with regard to religious issues.
