NEWS link: , , , CAIRO: Prominent Egyptian opposition figure and likely presidential candidate Mohamed el-Baradei met with members of the Free Egyptians Party yesterday. The meeting tackled important Egyptian issues including the party's instance form principle that controlling the constitution and the issued charters. El-Baradei agreed with the party's leaders that unifying the efforts of political powers across Egypt is important during the transitional period and that appreciation for the role of Egypt's military should not be wasted. They highlighted the right to peaceful demonstrating for all political powers until the demands of Egypt's January 25 Revolution, which toppled 30-year president Hosni Mubarak from power, are met. The both sides warned of the practices that aim to trigger violence among the rebels and military entities. The party leaders called on Egypt's ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces to reformulate its way in dealing with protest movements and all political powers without any doubt or accusation to preserve its role in the political transition.
