CAIRO: Egyptian Stock indexes improved somewhat today after a decline in morning trading. The activity is attributed to ongoing sales of Arab and Egyptian sales. The main index, EGX 30, declined by 0.14 percent; while indexes EGX 70 and EGX 100 have increased by 0.25 percent and 0.13 percent respectively. Trading volume reached EGP 179.6 million. Meanwhile, certain leading shares were in red. Citadel share decreased by 1.1 percent, Hermès declined by 0.77 percent, Orascom Telecom dropped by 0.51 percent, Upper Egypt Contracting Co declined by 0.69 percent, Palm Hills by 0.94, SODIC by 0.04 percent, Mobinil by 1.1 percent, and Commercial International Bank also decreased by 0.04 percent.
