links: , CAIRO: A peaceful march started in Tahrir Square and made its way to the military council yesterday. The march reached Abbasiya near Al-Nour Mosque. “We accepted to stop at the barriers the army set up. Suddenly one man said I was given 100 EGP to insult Chairman of the Supreme Council for the Armed Forces, Hussein Tantawi,” said Dr. Ahdaf Swief during a phone call on the '10:00 P.M.' talk show. Sweif added clashes took place when thugs emerged from side streets and buildings. She said the thugs were carrying swords and Molotov bottles. The Central Security used tear gas. The youth however refused to use rocks in return. They only defended themselves until some of them could return to Tahrir Square.
